Oirschot, Netherlands – The 2023 World Championships for Icelandic Horses, gathered riders and horses from 19 countries to compete and showcase their talents. Among the participants were our two daughters, Emma and Paulien Rottiers, who competed in the V1 Youth class.

Paulien delivered an impressive performance in the B-final of the V1 Youth class, finishing in the 9th place with her horse Baldvin frá Sunnaholti. Emma followed closely behind with Kléopatra frá Branstodum, securing a strong 11th place.

The 2023 World Championships have gained a reputation for high-level competition, featuring over 200 horses. For Emma and Paulien, the championships were an unforgettable experience, with their achievements reflecting months of dedication and training.
